Depending on how your family looks like it is completely different things that we want to give priority on their holidays. If you have children, it is all very well if they thrive on the West Coast and have fun on the day. Living in a hotel on the west coast during the summer is an option that is comfortable and you end up most often quite centrally, which can be an advantage if you want to lounge around and perhaps find a good place to eat on. Another option is to rent a cabin which can be just as good. We will recommend to both the hotels, restaurants and things to do in the day, bathing areas and more. Stenungsund, which is Sweden's fastest growing municipality, is a totally wonderful summer with the proximity of both salty bad, good restaurants and only a half-hour from Gothenburg with all the tourist attractions such as Liseberg, Universeum and to say nothing of all the nice museums, Gothenburg has to offer. All is well aware of the Marstrand, Smögen, Lysekil and Stroemstad which are established tourist destinations on the West Coast with all that this implies. To hold their holiday to the West Coast and Bohuslaen are guaranteed a pleasant experience. If you want a little different experience, you can take one or more fishing trips on the West Coast and maybe even "save the dinner", which may well be seen as a pure bonus. Day excursions to Kaeringoen

If you do not know quite what to find in you can take the bus or car to Haelleviksstrand, which is located on the western part of Orust. Orust is one of the biggest islands in Sweden. From Haelleviksstrand yesterday that a ferry over to the quite wonderful island Kaeringoen. Here you can swim and sunbathe but also eat a very good dinner at historic Pettersson Krog which has very high quality of what they serve to their guests and is one of the very best restaurants on the West Coast .. Has it taken a dinner on Monday Pettersson is measured, pleased and satisfied with their lives. Perhaps someone tusenlapp poorer but a wonderful memory richer. Kaeringoen has a history that goes several hundred years back in time and those who visited Kaeringoen would take with him a little soil and that is why vegetation is something beyond the ordinary. On Kaeringoen live for many years former Prime Minister Ulf Adelsson which, if you're lucky, can see sitting on his porch with a cup of coffee or a lemonade. In the afternoon, the children meta after crabs at the port and here we talk about crabs! There are rumours that it has been up crabs from the quay, which has weighed nearly one kilogram. Peterson Krog in Kaeringoen

On Friday, we took the bus from Stenungsund to Haelleviksstrand. It was Joerlandabuss, which allowed us to go in a completely new bus with all possible technic and facilities. The Nordic Akvarellmuseum in Skaerhamn
